Doug Sahm & Augie Meyers

Here's a great collection of Texas-tinged rhythm and blues from the one and only Doug Sahm and his saddle-pal, Augie Meyers. This is my vinyl rip at 320k as it came from the turntable. It's a clean copy and no audio restoration of any kind was used. Thanks to my pals out there for setting me straight on the release of this one.

Track listing and link in comments. Front and back covers are included in the download.

Hi Eddie
Glad to see you are feeling better & back blogging. Thanks for the great work you have put in over the years.I have had mental health problems myself & know how hard it is to get motivated ...... it took me 2 years to write this!!!!
Doug Sahm is one of my favourites & has been since I first heard She`s About A mover ..... so great choice, great taste.True American music.
I actually have a cd version of this on the Collectables label,it has 2 bonus tracks ...Little Doug`s first single.I haven`t listened to this version yet but the one I have is not of the highest quality>
Sorry the medication makes me ramble.
Keep the faith
cheers
Baz(in Australia)

Thanks for the cheers and the info on this release. I should have checked the Doug Sahm pages before I wrote the notes.
